DLA Piper wanted an up-to-date industry analysis of silicon metal producers in Kazakhstan, with a focus on whether the Kazakh government extended any preferential incentives and/or subsidies to such industries.

DHInfrastructure confirmed the ownership and financial status of silicon metal producers in Kazakhstan and investigated whether such producers received preferential incentives such as: (1) utility or input subsidies; (2) tax benefits; and (3) concessional loans, equity contributions, or credit guarantees.
